I am a native of Pueblo, and an artist. Painting has long been a passion of mine. I have always been a student of nature. I am fascinated by details: patterns of light, the jewel-like qualities of dewdrops, and the architecture of insects. I have a Master of Arts degree in Painting from Eastern Illinois University and Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Art from Washington University in St. Louis. I am currently a faculty member and Assistant Department Chair of the Fine Arts, Humanities, and Media Communications Department at Pueblo Community College. My paintings can be seen on a regular basis at the John Deaux Art Gallery at 221 S. Union in Pueblo.
