Moved to Pueblo in 1969
Employed by the University of Southern Colorado (now CSU-Pueblo) for 29 years (1969-1998) where, during that time, I received several awards and recognitions from Faculty, Staff and Students for my contributions to the university. Retired in 1998.
Owned and operated the Pueblo South/Colorado City KOA Campground for 20 years (March,1996 to June, 2016). While there, we received the President’s and Founder’s Awards for 15 consecutive years for exceeding excellence in customer services, facilities and campground management. Our campground was rated #6 in the nation out of 450 KOA properties. I was a guest speaker at several KOA national conventions. Retired a second time in 2016.
Substitute teacher for Pueblo School District 70 from 1998-2000.
Currently working part-time for Kampgrounds of America as a “campsitter”–substitute campground manager when owner needs to be away.
