Welcome to Impact Youth Initiative!

Impact Pueblo's YouthThe mission: To support the Impact Youth Initiative, a youth council of Pueblo County high school students, to activate and engage youth in the Pueblo Creative Corridor, a Colorado Certified Creative District. Impact Youth Initiative will be facilitated by the Pueblo Arts Alliance and will meet weekly to produce monthly art focused placemaking activations for one year from June 1, 2020 through May 31, 2021. The goals of the Impact project will be to 1) create youth activation through the arts in the Corridor, 2) create a sense of youth “ownership” of the Corridor, and 3) provide youth with practical applications of civic engagement and City government processes.

Seeking young leaders and teen influencers who have a desire to make a change and impact their community. Register now for sign-up and application information to become a part of our youth advisory mentoring collaborative. Make your voice heard!

Impact Youth Initiative Application

Impact Youth Initiative offers an opportunity to show our young people that they have a voice and how it can be used to achieve greatness. Our mission is to guide youth who have few opportunities through obstacles and creative solutions through each desired local project. Our art-focused activations and projects are supported by local artists and creatives who have expertise in executing Impact’s vision. Our mission is to disrupt the traditional power structure of implementation in the Pueblo Creative Corridor by allowing youth leadership in solving local issues and disenfranchisement.

Impact is facilitated by the Pueblo Arts Alliance and meets weekly to promote collaboration between our youth and the local arts community. The Pueblo Arts Alliances’ mission is to facilitate economic impact through the arts in our local community. We seek to improve livability and give ownership to our local youth.

We are partnering with the Student Government at CSU-P to fill our Belly box and in collecting donations. We will also be partnering with them on future projects in our community.

The ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones who do. –
