PUEBLO, Colo.—April 29, 2015—The Pueblo Arts Alliance has launched a newly designed website. The web address, www.PuebloArts.org, will remain the same as well as the purpose of the website to promote arts and culture in Pueblo. The site experience has an updated, contemporary look and simplified navigation. Upgrades to the site include itineraries for the Pueblo Creative Corridor and streamlined information about arts and culture events for the local community as well as tourists.
Susan Fries, executive director, says on the new website, “This is very exciting! Our online presence has hit the 21st century. The site is mobile friendly so anyone, anywhere on the move can be informed on the art and cultural goings on in our community. Such access is important in our current technologically driven approach to information – now, the Arts Alliance and Creative Corridor have a stronger online presence, which means our local arts and culture is now more visible and present to a larger audience.”
Much of the content everyone is used to is still available, such as upcoming events as well as information on members, but with a fresh twist. The website features a new calendar of arts and culture events in partnership with The Pueblo Chieftain’s PuebloEvents.net. The member information page now includes links to member’s online presence such as Facebook pages, websites and blogs. Site content is tailored not only to the local community but also tourists with itineraries on the arts and culture in Pueblo. Viewers can connect events and programs from PuebloArts.org directly to social media.
The Pueblo Arts Alliance website page will continue to serve as an online wealth of information for and on the arts enclave in our local community to support the Arts Alliance’s mission of promoting the production, enjoyment and collaboration of the arts for the purposes of economic development and an enriched quality of life in Pueblo. Added Fries, “Our online presence is a vital aspect of maintaining and reaching our goals and we are excited to launch this fresh, polished and modern platform that we are sure will enhance the breadth and scope of our reach into the online world.”
