Open Call for Student Photographers
This is an open call for students (elementary school through high school) to submit one ( 1 ) digital photograph for the exhibition PUEBLO NOW!!!
The exhibition will showcase the diverse range of perspectives of our beloved city from the eyes of our young people. Please consider this question when taking your pictures: What do you love about Pueblo? One image is all we are asking. It can be black & white, sepia, color, etc. Simple, yet challenging to select just one.
All submitted work will be exhibited publicly during the First Friday Art Walk on June 2nd 2017. Photos will be shown from 5- 8pm in the InfoZone Theatre at Rawlings Library. If weather permits, photographs will be projected on the outside wall of the Library (facing Abriendo) around sunset. There will be a small reception of snacks and drinks. Friends and families are welcome to attend.
Please make sure the image quality is high. Use a digital camera or smart phone to take photograph. Email image to Daniel@puebloarts.org along with the following information: Name, Title of image, Grade, School.
We reserve the right to reject images of low quality, inappropriate subject matter and/or disrespectful views. All students must be residents of Pueblo or Pueblo County. The project is open to all artists regardless of race, color, creed, gender, gender variance, national origin, age, religion, marital status, political opinion or affiliation, or mental or physical handicap.
