PUEBLO, Colo. —The Pueblo Creative Corridor comes alive with art, performance and a merry, old-fashioned holiday atmosphere on Fridays, Nov. 25, Dec. 2, 9 and 16, as well as on Saturdays, Nov. 26, Dec. 3, 10 and 17. Enjoy this winter wonderland from 5 to 7 p.m. on Fridays, and 12 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays during the Yule Love It Downtown, Pueblo’s Arts & Shopping Crawl. Revel in winter walking and shopping in the Mesa Junction, Union Avenue and Main Street districts with the addition of carolers, holiday singers and street performers. Art galleries will be open with newly hung shows, offering refreshments and music. Many local businesses will be serving up special promotions as well.
Light Up the Holidays
The merry feeling begins with the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Holiday Lighting Extravaganza, which will be held Friday, Nov. 25, beginning at 5 p.m. Visit the Welcome Center for hot chocolate, boat rides and Santa Claus. Fireworks will light up the sky around 7:30 pm.
The Downtown Association’s Parade of Lights: Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 5:30 p.m. The parade travels from the Mesa Junction down Union Avenue to Main Street, then west on 6th Street, ending at the Downtown location of signature sponsor Pueblo Bank & Trust.
Shop Small—And Local
November brings extra holiday savings with Small Business Saturday on Nov. 26. Get unique, Pueblo-made gifts and support local businesses at the same time! Shopping, dining, entertainment, special discounts and giveaways are all yours at a variety of neighborhood shops. Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center presents the annual Own Your Own Holiday Art Sale and Exhibition! This popular event features hundreds of items by well-known local artists and runs from Nov. 16 to Dec. 31. Enjoy special savings on Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Small Business Saturday, as well as a Super Saturday Sale on December 10 from 11 am to 5 pm.
Union Ave. City Hub is hosting a Small Business Marketplace at 224 S. Union Avenue to celebrate Small Business Saturday! Shop local at the variety of small businesses at this event on Nov. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Celebrate at the 40th Annual La Posada Procession on Dec. 10 starting at 3 p.m. at the Historic Union Depot.

Visit El Pueblo History Museum, CoLLECTiVE, Handsome Goods & Paper Co., Artisan Textile Co., Steel City Art Works, JOHN DEAUX ART GALLERY, the Fire Playce, Broadway Cup ‘n Cork, Arts Alliance Studios, All Clay a.k.a. Cristine Boyd, Pueblo Heritage Museum and the many other galleries and shops in the Creative Corridor, which will be open for the Dec. 2 First Friday Art Walk and throughout Yule Love It.
Don’t miss Handmade Pueblo’s 2nd Annual Handmade Holiday Craft Show on Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at El Pueblo History Museum! Come early–the first 100 guests receive a goody bag. Featuring free craft “make and takes” throughout the day.
